Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and promoting bank products/services
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to strict security protocols
- Learn and apply banking regulations (Regulations CC, EFTA, BSA) during training
- Assist with new account openings and basic account maintenance
- Participate in ongoing skills development workshops and mentorship programs
- Contribute to branch goals through cross-selling initiatives and customer satisfaction
- Operate teller systems and digital banking tools efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business/finance preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn banking software
- Customer service experience in retail or hospitality preferred
- Valid California driver's license for potential branch travel
