Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust perception systems using LiDAR, radar, and camera fusion for autonomous navigation
- Develop real-time decision-making algorithms for complex urban and highway driving scenarios
- Optimize vehicle control systems for safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation in simulated and real-world environments
- Document technical specifications and contribute to patent filings for novel innovations
- Mentor junior engineers and stay current with emerging AV research and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or embedded systems
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Strong understanding of machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion principles
- Experience with real-time operating systems and low-level programming
- Proven track record of deploying complex safety-critical systems
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
