Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous systems
- Design transparent explainability protocols for complex neural networks
- Lead stakeholder workshops to define ethical AI governance policies
- Monitor industry trends to proactively address ethical challenges
- Document compliance with global AI ethics guidelines (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Mentor engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics policy development
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML models
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 and IEEE 7000 standards
- Experience with regulatory landscapes in North America/EU
- Strong analytical skills for ethical risk quantification
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI preferred
