Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI bias in high-stakes decision algorithms
- Develop predictive models for emergent AI behavior in complex environments
- Present findings to congressional committees and UN ethics panels
- Mentor a team of 5-7 ethics researchers and quantum engineers
- Author industry standards for transparent AI deployment
- Coordinate with global regulators on policy development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published peer-reviewed research on algorithmic bias mitigation
- Expertise in quantum computing principles and neural network architectures
- Proven track record influencing national AI policy (e.g., NIST AI RMF)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and ethical auditing tools
- Experience with cross-cultural ethical frameworks and global governance
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
