Responsibilities

- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Collaborate with engineers to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging AI risks and societal impacts
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry coalitions and regulatory discussions
- Design transparency protocols for high-stakes AI decision-making systems
- Mentor teams on responsible AI implementation through workshops and documentation
Qualifications
- PhD or advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, policy development, or responsible tech
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Proven ability to translate ethical principles into technical specifications
- Experience leading ethics initiatives in tech or research organizations
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholders (engineers, policymakers, public)
- Published work in AI ethics or technology ethics journals strongly preferred
