Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical validation protocols for AI decision-making systems
- Conduct bias audits across machine learning pipelines using advanced fairness metrics
- Develop explainable AI frameworks for high-stakes applications (healthcare, finance)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with product teams to embed ethical design principles
- Research emerging regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) for compliance
- Create audit trails for AI system behavior using blockchain-based verification
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- MSc in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI experience
- Expertise in fairness metrics (AIF360, Fairlearn) and bias mitigation techniques
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics venues (NeurIPS, FAccT)
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and MLOps deployment pipelines
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Strong background in philosophy of technology or moral philosophy
- Portfolio demonstrating ethical AI system implementations
