- Produce quarterly strategic briefings on emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic systems)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design scenarios for technology adoption and societal impact analysis
- Mentor junior researchers in futurism methodologies and critical thinking
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Strong background in scenario planning and strategic foresight
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in tech futurism
- Experience with patent analysis and technology valuation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent methodology
