Responsibilities
- Design and implement technology roadmaps for 2026+ infrastructure spanning AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, and neuromorphic computing
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping breakthrough systems including autonomous AI agents and decentralized governance models
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, synthetic media)
- Develop ethical frameworks for future technology deployment ensuring alignment with human values
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs to accelerate innovation
- Present visionary technology briefings to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or decentralized systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Strong background in ethics and governance of advanced AI systems
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ disruptive technology implementations with measurable impact
