Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders on tech implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype futuristic solutions with real-world applications
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology deployment strategies
- Author thought leadership reports on 2026 technology landscape shifts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or VC-backed scale-ups
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with $10M+ impact
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Experience building scenarios for 2025-2030 technology disruption cycles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant STEM field preferred
