Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 2026+ commercialization potential
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for technology adoption curve acceleration
- Architect cross-industry innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish university research partnerships for emerging technology validation
- Author quarterly trend reports with 85%+ predictive accuracy benchmark
- Mentor internal teams in future-proof technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum or Nature Futures journal
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies pre-2025
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D funding from DARPA/NASA/NSF
- Patent portfolio with minimum 3 granted technology patents
