Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology trajectories through 2026
- Develop and commercialize prototypes in quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Collaborate with government agencies on policy frameworks for emerging tech
- Manage cross-functional teams of AI researchers, bioengineers, and material scientists
- Present findings at global innovation forums and secure $50M+ in research funding
- Drive ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D leadership with published work in top-tier journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record securing $10M+ in research grants or venture capital
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Experience with agile development in cutting-edge tech environments
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two commercialized innovations
