Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight roadmap identifying disruptive innovations
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Translate emerging technologies into patentable intellectual property and commercial prototypes
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation incubator programs accelerating 2026-ready solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
