- Lead cross-functional initiatives to achieve 2026 carbon neutrality targets
- Drive innovation in circular economy models and supply chain optimization
- Develop ESG frameworks exceeding SEC climate disclosure requirements
- Forge strategic partnerships with green tech startups and policy influencers
- Present sustainability roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026 sustainability strategy aligned with UN SDGs
- Oversee implementation of decarbonization initiatives across 50+ facilities
- Manage $15M+ annual budget for green technology investments
- Lead stakeholder engagement including investors, NGOs, and government bodies
- Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks for GRI and SASB standards
- Mentor sustainability team while fostering innovation culture
- Monitor emerging climate tech trends and policy shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or MBA with sustainability focus
- 8+ years in corporate sustainability with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record achieving net-zero targets in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in carbon accounting tools (SAP Carbon Cloud, Watershed)
- Strong understanding of SEC climate disclosure regulations and EU CSRD
- Certification in ESG reporting (GRI, SASB, or CDP)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global operations
- Demonstrated ability to secure stakeholder buy-in for ambitious sustainability goals
