Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 era, integrating emerging AI technologies and quantum-ready architectures.
- Lead a high-performing engineering team in architecting resilient, future-proof systems that scale for massive adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution.
- Research and prototype cutting-edge technologies to ensure Orbital stays ahead of the curve.
- Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
- Drive technical decision-making that aligns with long-term business goals and industry standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with a focus on high-performance computing and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML model deployment, LLM fine-tuning, and the integration of AI into enterprise workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
