Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap across quantum computing, climate tech, and biotechnology domains
- Lead cross-functional teams of futurists, engineers, and data scientists to transform speculative concepts into tangible prototypes
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and emerging tech startups
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for predicting and capitalizing on emerging technological inflection points
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage an $8M innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and adaptive resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging technology development
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced materials science, or climate modeling
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex technological interdependencies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- PhD or equivalent experience in STEM fields with specialization in future technologies
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and navigating regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
