Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures leveraging 2026-era hardware capabilities (256+ qubits)
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms for enterprise optimization problems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for real-time financial modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-secure communication systems
- Author whitepapers on quantum advantage in logistics and drug discovery
- Drive patent strategy for novel quantum gate implementations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum circuit optimization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# with Python/C++ integration
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review on quantum computing
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or photonic quantum systems
