Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Lead development of quantum error correction systems for commercial viability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Develop quantum algorithms for real-world industry applications
- Present quantum roadmap strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and mitigation strategies
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for cross-functional teams
