Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop novel error-correction methodologies to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead quantum circuit optimization for NISQ and fault-tolerant processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit connectivity and control systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum algorithms for industrial applications
- Author whitepapers and patents advancing quantum computational theory
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and coherence preservation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
