Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum coherence at room temperature
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize superconducting qubit designs
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Computing Summits
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum circuits with Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations (Quimb/TeNPy)
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
