Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with measurable impact milestones
- Identify and validate emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial application
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop patentable frameworks for sustainable tech integration in consumer products
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and external investors with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ innovation lab budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with commercial outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester)
