Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype future-forward solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across emerging fields (quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-backed implementation plans
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors for collaborative innovation
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026+ product development
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and tech trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least three industry-disrupting products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business Strategy, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futures studies
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term trend analysis methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
