Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging technologies with trillion-dollar potential
- Architect venture-style incubation programs for moonshot projects
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proof strategies into core business operations
- Host executive foresight workshops with global thought leaders
- Build quantitative models to forecast adoption curves and ROI for emerging tech
- Drive M&A strategy for disruptive startups in AI, climate tech, and neurotech
- Author the annual 'State of the Future' industry whitepaper
Qualifications
- 10+ years in corporate strategy, venture capital, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching successful moonshot projects (>100M USD impact)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar tier
- Experience with scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting frameworks
- Deep network within DARPA, NASA, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
