Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through market analysis and trend forecasting
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline success and track commercialization milestones
- Partner with venture capitalists to scout and integrate emerging startups
- Present annual innovation forecasts to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with proven 2026+ vision
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Track record of launching products with $10M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
