You'll interface with C-suite executives, research labs, and global partners to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies that drive market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing integration, AI governance frameworks, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional task forces to assess disruptive threats and opportunities in Web3, biotech, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and validate innovation hypotheses through rapid prototyping
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and venture capital firms
- Present strategic foresight reports to the board and executive leadership with data-driven risk assessments
- Champion ethical innovation principles in product development and corporate strategy
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and scenario planning techniques
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field with 10+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record of launching successful initiatives in quantum computing, AI, or climate tech
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends and their business implications post-2025
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning, trend analysis, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and global research communities
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
