Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (biotech, quantum computing, neurotech) to map 2026 technological inflection points
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market disruptions and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Produce annual '2026 State of the Future' reports for executive stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies through our Future Ethics Board
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on technological singularity or societal transformation
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Two Loops)
