- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite to align innovation priorities
- Develop patentable concepts for human augmentation technologies
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for stakeholders
- Advise on regulatory compliance for emerging tech deployments
- Build partnerships with academic labs and government innovation units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating trend forecasting methodologies (Delphi/STEEP analysis)
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity implications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle adaptation)
- Strong network of innovators across Silicon Valley and EU tech corridors
