Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technological adoption across quantum, biotech, and AI sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruption vectors and market inflection points
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Author proprietary foresight reports and whitepapers positioning Nexus as the thought leader in emerging technologies
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing product development and operational resilience
- Represent Nexus at Davos, Web Summit, and other global futurism forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy in published forecasts
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Published author or keynote speaker at top-tier futurism conferences (e.g., South by Southwest, Foresight Practitioners Conference)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercialized innovations
