You'll translate complex foresight into actionable strategies that drive innovation, mitigate risks, and unlock unprecedented growth opportunities in an increasingly volatile future.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-proof organizational priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential for our industry
- Design scenario-based contingency plans for critical future uncertainties
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts in advanced foresight methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, neurotech
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (academic or industry journals)
- Experience with foresight tools like Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, or Causal Layered Analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-forward strategies
