Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis

- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario planning frameworks for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future visions into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders

- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon as a future-focused leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology forecasting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech) with proven track record
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism (articles, books, research)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
