Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends across technology, economics, and society to inform strategic direction
- Develop scenario-based forecasts for 2026 market landscapes and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities
- Design and maintain horizon scanning frameworks for emerging technologies
- Produce thought leadership content including whitepapers and executive briefings
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development cycles
- Advise leadership on long-term innovation investments and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, SWOT analysis)
