Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author white papers on societal impacts of automation and decentralized systems
- Partner with VCs to identify emerging startups in climate tech and neuro interfaces
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage a $2M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in futures methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Futurology, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology adoption curves
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech implementations
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration projects
