Responsibilities
- Anticipate global technological and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Produce future-state scenarios with actionable roadmaps for product innovation
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Advise executive team on future-proofing organizational capabilities and talent models
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology ethics and governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact (TED talks, journals, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic predictions
