Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to inform 2026+ strategic planning
- Develop scenario models for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI convergence)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-state roadmaps
- Present future-vision briefings to executive board and key stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive futures
- Monitor horizon-scanning metrics and adjust strategy quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or equivalent technical field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech stacks (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Certification in Futures Research or similar preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future concepts
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio of published future-vision work required
