Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Foresight Framework, scanning horizon signals across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives, translating complex futures into strategic priorities
- Author quarterly 'Future State Briefs' predicting industry disruptions and opportunity vectors
- Design and facilitate innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Build and manage a global network of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with compelling data visualization
- Champion ethical innovation principles in all future-facing initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures analysis or scenario planning projects
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Synthetic Biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive action
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record of influencing organizational strategy through future insights
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, CSSF) preferred
