Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying breakthrough technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks translating future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term market evolution
- Author predictive briefings for board members and key stakeholders on emerging risks/opportunities
- Direct cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-generation solutions
- Represent company at global foresight forums (Davos, WEF, etc.)
- Mentor team in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technological adoption with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech domains
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau/Power BI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for speculative R&D initiatives
