Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological convergence points
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption and market disruption
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-10 year industry trajectories
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development
- Present executive briefings on paradigm shifts and competitive threats
- Build cross-functional futures councils to accelerate organizational foresight
- Author thought leadership on emerging tech implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of mapping multi-year technology disruption cycles
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Credibility with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership on future trends (articles, patents, books)
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant technical/business field required
