Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts through 2030 horizon scanning
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into organizational DNA
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and industry-shaping trend reports
- Build and steward an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts compellingly
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSP) or equivalent
