Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging technology trends through 2026 (AI, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Develop strategic frameworks for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Produce horizon-scanning reports and scenario-planning models for executive leadership
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities
- Represent company at global tech summits and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior analysts in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of successful trend analysis and strategic implementation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
