Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with quantifiable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for quantum computing applications
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with ethics councils to ensure all innovations align with human-centered design principles
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices for long-term technology forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, or climate tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological threads
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience scaling prototype solutions to enterprise-level deployments
- PhD or equivalent in technology forecasting, systems engineering, or related field
