Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable tech through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps aligning technological advancements with market opportunities and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futuristic insights into product development and business strategy
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities in emerging markets, recommending proactive mitigation or investment strategies
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies that delivered measurable ROI
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology, or strategy publications
- Experience with innovation frameworks like Design Futures, Delphi Method, or Technology Roadmapping
