Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate tech breakthroughs
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market opportunities
- Present strategic foresight to executive leadership and board members with compelling narratives
- Establish cross-industry collaborations to accelerate adoption of emerging paradigms
- Author thought leadership content positioning FutureHorizon as a 2026 innovation authority
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing business models and product roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, neurotech, space commercialization, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-strategy initiatives
