Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen computing paradigms
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and tech scouting programs
- Oversee patent strategy for emerging IP portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology assessment preferred
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
