Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with accurate patient information
- Provide exceptional patient education and support
- Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary – training provided
- Ability to obtain Washington Medical Assistant certification post-training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn EHR systems
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holidays
