Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and verify against packing slips.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and clean to optimize workflow and prevent hazards.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation to the Houston location.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
