Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with 99% accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and hand trucks to move goods safely.
- Truck Loading: Load and unload trailers efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packaging and shipping.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; general labor experience is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, have a reliable form of transportation, and pass a background check.
- Skills: Basic math skills for scanning and counting; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
