Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression and a seamless banking experience.
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Open new accounts and assist existing customers with account inquiries or troubleshooting.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards, mortgages, and personal loans, to meet branch targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment, adhering to all banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist in resolving customer issues and escalating complex concerns to branch management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer populations.
- Basic math skills and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cash handling and data entry.
- Reliable and punctual attendance with a strong work ethic.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for the Trainee position.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., bags of coin/currency).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
