Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for venue operations and logistical support for the 2026 World Cup.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including local vendors, international contractors, and internal staff, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
- Develop and execute comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks during high-pressure events.
- Oversee budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder engagement with FIFA officials, government entities, and corporate sponsors.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale event management, sports, or hospitality industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar advanced project management certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse, high-performing teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a significant advantage.
