Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Lead cross-functional scenario-planning workshops to build resilient 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Produce high-impact research reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Establish and maintain thought leadership through industry conferences, publications, and media engagements
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Analyze geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptors with quantifiable risk assessment
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a future-oriented culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of professional futurism or strategic planning experience with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
