Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum/IoT systems
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Partner with academic institutions to publish 2026+ technology forecasts
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
- Identify and secure patents for proprietary 2026-era innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years experience
- Published research in quantum computing or AI ethics (IEEE/ACM journals)
- Proven track record of launching technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 technology strategy
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent credential preferred
