Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized product recommendations and needs-based selling
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through upselling and cross-merchandising techniques
- Process transactions accurately while maintaining security protocols for cash and inventory
- Execute visual merchandising standards to create an engaging shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members to maintain organized, clean sales floor and stockrooms
- Participate in inventory management processes including receiving and stock replenishment
- Actively participate in product knowledge training to stay current on features and benefits
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and track performance metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customer demographics
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail technology
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus
- Valid driver's license for potential store transfers or errands
